A question which springs to my mind is, how would you measure how broad a broadband service is? Maybe it is like asking which flows faster, a narrow river or a broad one? If it is in metres per second then it is the same, but if it is in cubic metres per second the broad river is faster. How did this get sent to a broadcast newsgroup? Broadcast is about sowing seeds.
