Privately I use macOS most of the time and as fall back I have two Linux laptops which are always at the same level as the Macs. I still believe that macOS is the most stable and optically the most attractive OS. A Linux Ubuntu running Wayland comes very close on my 27" Dell screen. The FOSS software I use most is Firefox, Thunderbird and Libre Office on all systems. > Windows I have never intended to use as my primary system. What I also would never accept is that Apple - like in the UK - hast to stop E2E-encryption of iCloud (most of it) because the government is blackmailing Apple to open backdoors. The UK-situation is not acceptable for a Democracy. Jörg -- "Roma locuta, causa finita" (Augustinus)
