A wide range of control layouts is available, all different from the
cars used by 99% of the population, although some of them come close.
You can't use most motorways, but there's generally an A-class road
which will get you to the same place in the end. If it breaks down very
few garages will understand it, but you can find a lot of support on the
internet, including a few people who will tell you that you have no
business to be driving a car if you haven't blueprinted the crankshaft
yourself. They will also use the word "shill" a lot and will have more
than a hint of open-toed sandals and uncut toe-nails.
