During her 90-day performance review, the company discovered that she had 
created several fake employees that she had been paying through the 
business.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. — A woman is facing a stealing charge after 
investigators said she stole more than $100,000 from her new employer in 
her first 90 days on the job.

Jacqueline Gray was charged with stealing more than $25,000 in connection 
with more than a dozen financial transactions between Aug. 7 and Oct. 17 
of 2025.

According to the charging documents, Gray was hired as an HR manager for a 
business in Jefferson County on July 22. During her 90-day performance 
review, the company discovered that she had created several fake employees 
that she had been paying through the business.

She is also accused of increasing her own salary right before payroll was 
delivered.

Over the 90 days, Gray is accused of illegally taking $105,260 from the 
unnamed business.
