Saudis are a key in the fate of this coming war, and they know it. This 
is why all sorts of arrangements are discussed right now between Saudis 
and other gulf dictatorships and even Egypt and Turkie. Iran is missing 
in these discussions because all these nations are trying to save their 
asses in one way or another by preventing the war to continue.

If the war continues with Americans using their bases and air and land 
and sea spaces, Saudis and other gulf Arab dictatorships will suffer 
huge damages and even can get destroyed altogether, if desalination 
plants are hit by Iran.

Now, why Americans need such spaces? The issue at hand for them is the 
size of Iran and distances to reach Iran's borders, let alone going 
inside Iran. The sizes are too large for bombers, needing them to get 
fueled multiple times before reaching Iran. So from the deck of a 
carrier that cannot even come closer than 1000 km to Iran, Americans can 
only operate a much smaller number of bombers and at much higher costs.

This is the issue.

The distances are shorter if jets travel eastward from Israel from 
carriers stationed there, but this refueling has to take place right 
inside the air space of Iraq, and this is very risky cause Iran has 
shown that they can shoot refuelers who are circling over Iraq.

So the only viable option for the USA is to base the coming war on using 
their bases in Kuwait and Saudis and the rest of the golf Arab states. 
This is why those bases were created to begin with.

So either Americans do not give a damn to those states complaints and go 
ahead and use their bases by force, causing Iran to retaliate against 
the Arabs, or the US navy will call it quits and move out of the West 
Asia to cut the cost, because maintaining even this funky "ceasefire" is 
too expensive for them.

This is why Saudis are quite busy discussing creation of other alliances 
to protect themselves, using Turkie and Egypt and each other. These 
alliances will replace relying on the Americans, and have China and 
Russia's support behind them. Iranians also, despite being absent in 
them for the time being, prefer that American forces leave West Asia to 
West Asians and do not come back, ever.

So that's that.

What remains is the question of Israel :) This will be what all the 
juices are stationed, in the coming wars with Israelis, as AI-Netanyahu 
and the Zionist billionaires of the USA certainly are pushing for it.

American businessmen still have huge assets both inside Israel and in 
the Emarat. If Israel attacks Iran again, Americans, like the 12-day war 
or before, will have to help them to some extent, but this time will 
lose the rest of their bases and all their business assets in the Emarat.

So Israelis may not secure the same support from the American Zionists 
as before. This will make Israel's attack on Iran less likely. And 
pressure on them, without any war, will only get increased not only by 
Iranians restarting serious support for Hezbollah and Houthis, but also 
by using the leverage of Hormoz in their favor.

Anything other than what I just said above is pure myth. Don't pay 
attention to such myths in the news media and twitter etc.

There will be no settlement between Iran and the USA. The situation the 
two are in is not one that allows such concept. Read my explaining of 
this fact in the same blog entry above, involving the burglar analogy.

Not in this generation anyway. As long as the present Iranian people and 
the American people are still breathing, the situation remains the same 
as in the burglar analogy. They must get old and die, all of them, so 
other opportunities could come up again.
