I personally think, that 'Einstein' was actually a false identity of a Swiss born Jesuit agent, which were and still are on a 'crusade' against Protestantism. The Catholic church was also engaged in theoretical physics and possibly found something, they would like to keep secret and use only themselves. As rough estimate I would guess: the Vatican has a functioning time-machine and wanted to use that knowledge exclusively. TH
