It's what you get for a 40-50 dollar radio. AM only, can't turn up the volume knob past halfway or it gets distorted, low wattage. It does sound alright if all the knobs are in the midpoint. It comes from factory with a 4 watt deadkey but peaks up to 15 watts. It's transmit audio is better than what it can produce with it's built-in speaker. It's nothing to right home about but it is a good introductory radio. But only that. Ounce you learn how to tune your SWR and talk on the CB it's time to move up to something else.
