I don't know. Doesn't really matter. What I've seen mentioned here in
the last day or so alone lists all the things that would keep me from
playing.

I didn't even get into Ultima 6 when I tried, too used to the comfort of
just clicking words, and that looked like fun.

I tried Ultima Underworld, but am so not compatible with first/third
person view. I just bump into walls and get lost. :))

Ouch, even more reason to not play it!

Hm, I'm no completionist. I dropped books that bored me and I don't look
back either.

Not in my world. :P

Even Serpent Isle is on the edge already, lacking the freedom of The
Black Gate.

I'd rather try to get into Ultima 1, 2, 3,... Or wait for someone to
make a modern engine that lets me run them like Ultima 7, with comfort!
:)

Btw, I'm aware of Exult, but so far, every time I looked at it, it made
the wrong sound effects for example for clicking the red tick to close
inventory windows, and it didn't remember where I put my character
windows. So I never got further than checking those two things.
