Agreed.

This is what I still use. You can get replcement headband covers and ear
pads for them. Beware the M70x, which is way out of the price range here
but deserves a mention because despite its overall slightly cleaner sound
and more accurate bottom end, the hinges that attach the earpieces to the
headband will crack, for sure, rendering it useless. There is certainly
no shortage of repair advice on Google, but hey -- you know..
