Ours seems to work quite well. However, voting is compulsory over here. Which people really don't seem to mind too much. And, like the US, voting irregularities are virtually non-existent. That said, voting, in Australia, seems to be rather different to the US system. The 'Democracy sausage' is a common sight at most polling booths. Usually, the BBQ is operated by a charitable group, such as Rotary or The Lions and a nice time is had by most. Is George still around?
