Geizhals is one of the largest price comparison portals in Europe. We are
growing our team for the build-up, maintenance and optimization of
(Perl-)-Backend solutions.

An employed position is our preferred scenario. Depending on your
time-zone, independent contracting work is also an option given you have
successfully mastered this scenario in the past.

Desired skills:
Required skills: 
★ 5y+ experience in object oriented and/or functional programming. 
★ 5y+ experience in using relational databases. 

Desired skills or experience: 
★ Published open source software modules.
★ Experience in development of web-based applications.
★ Experience in working with inter-operating systems and/or Web Services 
★ Experience in using the basics of the following technologies: 
  ◦ PostgreSQL 
  ◦ Web technologies (HTML,JS,CSS) 
  ◦ DVCS (Git)
