OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha Police responded to a shooting and pursued 
suspects in North Omaha Saturday afternoon.

OPD officials told First Alert 6 that officers responded to a shooting 
near 44th Street and Redman Avenue around 3:44 p.m.

At the scene, one victim was located, and was transported to the hospital. 
OPD said the shooting took place outside.

Also at the scene, a suspect vehicle was located and a pursuit ensued, 
ending near the area of 60th Street and Fowler Avenue.

One of the suspects was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

According to OPD, two of the tree victims are expected to survive. The 
third was a “walk-in” at a hospital, and police are still investigating if 
they are related to the shooting in question.

It’s still unknown if the suspect and the victim are connected. OPD says 
there my be more victims involved, but so far three have been hit by 
gunfire.

The investigation is ongoing.
