This has been a warm muggy July 4 weekend in Lincoln. I hope you had a
good holiday.

We will be holding our next Midwest Division Zoom Townhall Meeting on
Wednesday, July 16, at 7:30pm CT. Please plan on taking part if you are
able. We will record the meeting and post it on YouTube in case you
can't attend in real time.

Bret Kuhns, WØVK, will join us to talk about the plans for the 2025
Midwest Division Convention. The convention will be held in Sedalia,
MO, on October 10 and 11.

Vice Director Dave Propper, K2DP, and I will be talking about the
upcoming ARRL Board Meeting.

And, of course, we welcome questions, comments, and announcements from
members.

I collected some pictures from the Lincoln Amateur Radio Club's field
day site. And I took a picture of my KWM-2 while I operated field day
from home. Last Saturday I celebrated the 64th anniversary of my first
amateur radio license. I thought it appropriate to operate the same
type of radio that I loved using some 60 years ago. It was brought to
the Crescenta Valley (California) Amateur Radio Club's field day site by
the "rich doctor" in town.

It's time for another newsletter. I would very much appreciate stories
and pictures from your field day experience. Please email those to me
at k0aiz@arrl.org.

I hope to see you on the 16th.

73, Art KØAIZ
