New Card Checker and Hold the Date

It gives me pleasure to announce the appointment of Rob Dutton, K0IYA, 
as the newest Midwest Division DXCC QSL Card Checker.  Rob has been 
involved with ham radio for over 60 years.  He is an active DXer, 
Volunteer Examiner, and member of the Coffeyville, Kansas, Amateur Radio 
Club.  Rob's QTH is Coffeyville, Kansas, near the Oklahoma border.  Rob 
was nominated for this position by Ron Cowan, KB0DTI, Kansas Section 
Manager. 
 
Now something for your calendar.  The next Midwest Division Zoom Town 
Hall Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 28, at 7pm Central 
Standard Time.  Please reserve that time if you can.  I'll be sending 
out a Zoom link and more information closer to the event. 
 
It's nice having the sun out and a balmy 50 degrees outside. And the DX 
is pretty good on all bands.
