I have emailed Mi'sel Joe.

What basis do I have for the weatherworking ability and the 14 years?

I once heard a Mi'kmaq story on CBC Radio in which there was a
period of extreme weather (I think perpetual winter) and a young
man had to travel 7 years to get to Glooskap and 7 years back,
and Glooskap solved the weather problem. So I think
Glooskap once lived as a human avatar type and had
a 14 year low/working period and had weatherworking
ability.

But in the story I think the young man had to repeat his
journey a second time, so a total of 28 years. However
I have divined that the longest low/working years period before
me was an 18 year one of a humpback whale avatar type of
about 4000 years ago, who covered the world's oceans and
30 km inland from them and from major rivers. Otherwise
as I said in my first email there were some 14 year ones
and more 7 year ones. I am at 27 years so far, so long
since I have a global region, partly due to the extent
of the Internet.

The other possibility is that Glooskap was not originally
human and the young man was the avatar type, but
I don't believe that.

And as I say in the Preliminary Remarks section of
my Salmon on the Thorns webpage, I have more
evidence that I am similar to Quetzalcoatl than
Glooskap so far.
