It’s also buggy and generally bad vibes. There’s reasons I stick
to plain Debian, despite all the controverse from the recent years.

As for funding… I don’t think it should be I to approach the RPi
foundation. I *can* ask around on Fedi, if it is indeed “just” a
funding issue.
