Anyone else encountered this: I select an directory entry, a file or directory, with one click and press F2 to rename it. I edit the name and hit enter. Result Filename is returned to the old state. The rename basically does not happen. No error message in GUI. Did not check with starting Dolphin from console yet. Today I tried again three times and it did not work. What always works is opening the "Properties" window and change the name there. Expected Result Rename goes through all the time. Anyone else experiencing this odd behavior? I did not yet find a pattern to reproduce it. Often rename with F2 just works, sometimes it does not with the symptoms described above. Best, Hi, For me F2 in Dolphin (25.12.1) on Testing works as expected... Regards, ya
