Hello, I had the same problem after an apt update the following command 
apt dist-upgrade - V
Updates several packages but removes several others including kdepim, kmail, 
kontact...
So I stopped the update.
I did a:
 apt install kdepim 
and there kdepim, kmail, kontact 24-12 were installed followed by an 
apt dist-upgrade -V 
or then all the other packages in the update were updated.
This is for information, there is indeed a big problem in the kdepim 24-12 update 
process.
