I'll celebrate this at the beach later today (also to escape the heatwave) ;) Le 2025-08-11 00:06, Julien Plissonneau Duquène a écrit : > > still sifting through the new releases to remove unwanted content I'm mostly done with both the latest and the older tag I'll package first and should be able to prepare and push packaging updates for excluded files and some metadata, and clean updates to the "upstream/latest" branch. After that I'll have to skim the diffs between releases to spot possible remaining issues, then start to work on updating the packaging, patches and custom Gradle build. There are 4.5 (6.5 to the latest) years of updates of a fairly large and active code base to process so it takes some time. In the meantime Vladimir built an updated kotlinx-coroutines [1] [2] package with bootstrap packages of gradle8 and kotlin2. Later I would like to try to downgrade the build scripts and patch the sources to get it built with gradle 4 and kotlin 1.3.31 and check if that old kotlin can work with it but that's not the priority right now. Not sure what Vladimir will pick next, but kotlinx.serialization looks like a good candidate. This week Vladimir also started a process to become a DM, so we now both looking for kind DDs that could submit signed advocacy statements [3] [4] for us.
