OK, this is a lesson in preparing better.

This is one of the machines I will upgrade and others have been cleaned up
more thoroughly already but, at the last minute, I was hasty and went for
an upgrade of the laptop which had, for years, run unstable. I changed the
sources to bookworm when I retired, so over a year ago.

All in all, this is mostly my fault but if the report is useful to others,
then that's OK. Probably isn't anything specific to do within the archive
or release for this, though. If that means the bug should be closed, that's
OK.

I'll spend more time preparing the other machines.
