dopo innumerevoli prove ho provato a cambiare porta usb

sorpresa:

su una fa il casino descritto

su un altra il cdrom non viene rilevato e la wlan parte regolarmente

su altre due prima viene rilevato il cdrom, poi staccato ( dal soft
immagino per  l' udev che ho impostato) e poi la wlan parte
regolarmente.
