Since your question is specifically about 'make' then as noted in our
last exchange the better mailing list is the <help-make@gnu.org>
mailing list where the make developers and other make experts and
users hang out.  There are only a few of us here on help-gnu-utils and
generally very little make discussion happens here.

Please send your make questions to the <help-make@gnu.org> mailing list.
