And yet.... I have spent an accumulated time of one year in France and
have never seen Les Grenouilles on a menu.

As I said before I have only seen them on a menu and eaten them in
London.  The menu was in Serbian and Croatian (same language, different
script), fortunately we had a native speaker in the party.

What I have had en Bretagne was a pot roast of cheval.  The family I was
paired with took some delight in seeing what they could get their early
teenage guest to, unknowingly, eat.
