Je ne connaissais pas pyenv, mais ça semble être une solution à ce 
problème.

Sur ma ubuntu, il est packagé pour snap :

yves@d3:~$ snap info pyenv

donc si tu utilises snap, ça doit pouvoir aussi s'installer avec

snap install pyenv
ou 
sudo snap install pyenv

Je n'ai pas essayé.
