These newsgroups are not very active - but news:comp.lang.vhdl is not 
being so well - so if one wants to ignore these newsgroups then one can 
also ignore this first article this month in these newsgroups.

He has however coauthored e.g. a book in C afterwards.

Buggy Media Player (Version 11.2505.2.0 Copyright 2025 Microsoft) credits 
him. One can assume that he is not guilty of its bugs. These credits are 
for System.Memory 4.5.3 and 4.5.4 and 
System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Unsafe 4.5.2 and 5.0.0 and 
System.Text.Encodings.Web 5.0.1 and System.Text.Json 5.0.2.

I criticise Microsoft players on

by contrasting them with FFPlay playing "a huge circa 4-gigabyte 74-hour 
MPEG-4 file".

I would have liked to promote some Ada application, but e.g. ALIRE Crates 
Audio_base and Audio_wavefiles by Audio Software Engineer Gustavo André 
HOFFMANN do not support MPEG-4 even though he worked on MPEG-4. Cf.
