Die Auswahl an ARMs in DIP oder 50 mil SO Gehäusen ist aber recht gering,
was den Selbstbau etwas erschwert, so man nicht vom freundlichen Chinesen
ein preiswertes Board erwirbt. Für den ARM spricht allerdings die Tatsache,
daß viele bereits eine RTC mit Kalenderfunktion eingebaut haben. 
Auch die höhere Wortbreite von 16 oder 32 Bit erleichtert einiges.

Das hat aber weniger mit Harvard Architektur zu tun, sondern mit der 
Implementierung in gcc. Andere Compiler können das deutlich besser.
