Hallo liebe geschätzte Aukenner!

An einem etwa zehn Jahrealten Notebook kriege ich den Bildschirm nicht
mehr hell, bzw. bleibt alles dunkel. Auch kein BIOS-Setup ist zu sehen.

Mit einem extern angestöpselten VGA-Monitor geht's jeoch.

Im BIOS ist Punkt "Monitor" derzeit auf "automatisch" erkennen
eingestellt.

Ich habe Angst, daß nach dem Rücksetzen auch der externe Monitor
nichts mehr anzeigt.

Theoretisch lässt sich - neben automatisch und intern - VGA oder
DisplayPort fest auswählen.

Brächte es mir etwas, enn ich die irgendwo im Haus herumliegende
Docking-Station suche und anschließe?
