Ich möchte eine externe Festplatte von verschiedenen Betriebsystemen aus 
als Dateiablage nutzen. Dafür suche ich ein vorteihaftes Dateisystem.

Lesender und schreibender Zugriff muss von GNU/Linux und Windows 10 und 
11 aus möglich sein. Zugriff von macOS aus ist erwünscht, aber unter 
Umständen verzichtbar.

Es ist in Ordnung, wenn der Dateisystemtreiber nicht zum Betriebssystem 
gehört und erst mit Administrationsrecht installiert werden muss. Es 
soll sich dann allerdings um freie Software handeln.

Das Dateisystem soll eine zumindest halbwegs moderne Struktur haben. FAT 
möchte ich vermeiden.

Welche Dateisysteme kommen Euch dafür in den Sinn?
