As part of our development team in Leipzig you will:

* maintain and extend our existing submission and streaming applications
* cooperate with the product management to design and implement new features
* deploy online and set up onsite installations
* do research on new technologies, e.g. better video codecs or Virtual Real=
ity

We value code reviews, good coding style, keeping a high test coverage and =
automation.

* You enjoy working in a team.
* You have +3 years experience in software development.
* You have experience in implementing medium to large scalable systems with=
 Python and Django.
* You have experience with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScr=
ipt.
* You have experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL databases.
* You have practical experience in writing unit tests and documentation.
* You are using Git as a daily tool.
* You have experience on working with agile techniques and issue trackers.
* You communicate well in English.

We'd like it if you had this:

* Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
* Familiarity with ES6 and Single Page Applications.
* Experience with AWS and Heroku.
* Experience with Docker.
* Experience on working with Linux (Ubuntu) on server and desktop.
* Server hardware, networking and monitoring knowledge.
* Experience in video encoding.
* Experience with internationalization.
