And you ignore the many reports from many sources that say the small RAM
footprint is not noticeable at all. That encoding a 80GB 5K video on a
MacBook Air with 8GB works just fine with no apparent memory issue. That
when someone opens 500+ tabs on Chrome the system is still responsive
and fast even though Chrome has completely shit itself.
