I have an 8-year-old OWC SSD purchased in 2008 and in constant daily use as a startup drive for my Mac Pro (the majority of that time without TRIM enabled) without issue. There are no signs it will fail any time soon. It's backed up automatically all the time; so when it dies, I'll just replace it. I have better things to do than babysit my computer. -- E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my ravenous SPAM filter. I often ignore posts from Google. Use a real news client instead. JR
