Some people prefer to mix and match their own components and tinker with hardware and software configurations. Some people appreciate the value in a computer that has components that have been designed and well tested to work well as a whole from day one. Neither is right or wrong - that's just the way it is. And claiming people who do one or the other are somehow clueless, being ripped off, or wrong is short sighted and silly, IMO. -- E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my ravenous SPAM filter.
