I'm guessing since he passed away a few years ago, but he is somewhat like me. I don't fly these days. Between the hassle at the airport and all the fees, I figger if I can't or don't want to drive there, I'm not going there! :) These days if I'm going to make a trip I'll throw my golf clubs in the back, drive as long as I actually want to, stop along the way and play a course I haven't seen before and rinse, repeat.
