I used something similar to that when working on this "challenge" that Owl presented in COLA: The main challenge was just having the terminal color be selected to match the background (why, who knows, but he wanted that) but I also wanted to make sure the text could be read. Used a calculated brightness level to decide if the text should be black or white. -- Personal attacks from those who troll show their own insecurity.
