Preferences are in the Preferences folder and the name is tied to the program. For example, Chome's pref are called: "com.google.Chrome.plist" and "com.google.Chrome.helper.EH.plist". If you cannot find it by name, open the Preferences folder and sort by date modified. If you are looking to toss the preferences of a program quit it and then look at the top few. Side Note: Classic Mac used to have a feature where you could copy or move the Preferences file to the desktop and then use THAT to open the program and it would use those prefs. OS X does not... I miss that feature but was likely one of three people who ever used it. :) -- * OS X / Linux: What is a file? * Mint MATE Trash, Panel, Menu: * Mint KDE working with folders: * Mint KDE creating files: * Mint KDE help: * Mint KDE general navigation: * Mint KDE bugs or Easter eggs? * Easy on OS X / Hard on Linux: * OS / Word Processor Comparison:
