The other day I had a problem editing a video so I looked at the Darwin code for half an hour and it really inspired me! :) >> How about the vast array >> of Linux distros, and how they work, compared to ONE OSX? > > who cares. how does that help get work done? All of those distros, combined, have less than 2% usage. This is with most being no charge. This is with different ones having different focuses. This is with Dell and HP and Walmart and others working to market one or more distros. And essentially nobody wants it. Those who can use it or nothing use Linux, along with a tiny percent of others. > does it make photos look better? nope. > does it make movies more interesting? nope. Well, with movies you get the fun of figuring out which disto comes with tools to actually watch the ones you want. So much fun! Or you can seek your own solution, often not part of the repositories. -- * OS X / Linux: What is a file? * Mint MATE Trash, Panel, Menu: * Mint KDE working with folders: * Mint KDE creating files: * Mint KDE help: * Mint KDE general navigation: * Mint KDE bugs or Easter eggs? * Easy on OS X / Hard on Linux: * OS / Word Processor Comparison:
