See, Linux is better because it breaks dependencies and allows you to fix them... and using nom de plume's method you ALSO lose your prefereces. What a benefit he shows Linux to offer! Meanwhile, if he wants to send text to someone he noted he can edit and copy and open a text editor and paste and edit and copy and open a mail client and paste. So easy! On OS X, of course, I can just select and drag then edit. Or even do it this way: . Hmmm, re-reading his comment maybe he meant send the text document. THAT is easier on OS X, too. Save it wherever you want and then drag the proxy icon to the Mail icon. Boom. No need to even go to your documents folder or wherever you saved it. Wait! If you want to do that well, you guessed it, OS X makes THAT easier too! Just right click on the title and get the full path. Ah, I love choice. He is going out of his way to make Linux look bad. -- * OS X / Linux: What is a file? * Mint MATE Trash, Panel, Menu: * Mint KDE working with folders: * Mint KDE creating files: * Mint KDE help: * Mint KDE general navigation: * Mint KDE bugs or Easter eggs? * Easy on OS X / Hard on Linux: * OS / Word Processor Comparison:
