No issues with Mail from 10.11 here. There were two "start up" issues (PGP plugin caused Mail to crash and had to rebuild two folders). And the dreaded losing config settings bug has yet to appear (it's been less than a week, so ...) I do need Excel and Word to be reliable, so until the bugs are cleared up and tested by others I'll keep running the 2008/2011 versions of office.
