I have the same phenomenon with a cable DisplayPort <-> Mini DisplayPort I turn off the screen. I unplug it from the MBP. I turn it on again. I'm waiting for the "AOC" logo to appear. I reconnect to the MBP. I also have an HDMI - HDMI cable and an HDMI - Mini DisplayPort adapter The situation is then less worse. -- Jean-Pierre Kuypers
