Because that's what we pay them to do, yep. And we have a reasonable
expectation that they will not treat *all* of us like criminals without
due process. Unfortunately, that's not happening in a *lot* of cases,
which is the problem. Do you have any constructive ideas, or are you
simply stating your support for the status quo?
