Overall the feature seems half-baked. The options in the keyboard preferences are wonky and incomplete, and needing to relaunch apps seems poorly done. Not a big deal given how rarely you would change it, but the idea of having SOME setting in the preferences panel that do not even make sense unless you change a setting in the command line is weird.
