While I prefer Usenet-based resources, people have congregated here for 
m88k projects (including one of the first single-board, CPU-only PCBs 
that I've seen):

Via the same contributor who did the PCB, I now have all the application 
notes I was looking for! I'll get them posted up to my website "soon", 
for posterity.
