group, I know this question comes a bit late, but the usual faqs and aunt Google don't give me definite answers and this group is otherwise dead anyway: I have this inherited old RT up and running AIX 2.2.1 as of Nov-1999. I presume it's not Y2K safe and there are no fixes. How hard would it hurt letting he date roll over into Y2K? Is it just the "date" command not working properly or are there more serious issues? Otoh, would it hurt to just set back the time to say 1990? Can the system cope with then "future" dates? tia
