It's been a while since I've done this, but I think you may have to delete the existing file first before attempting to BSAVE with a filetype. Try BSAVING with a slightly different name. The error you're seeing may be because the filetypes don't match. To be sure, I'd need to check my ProDOS tech reference manual.
