You can use 4 MB of memory expandable to 16 MB using current 1MB SIMMs or up to 64 MB using the newer 4 MB SIMMs- Drawback: With 32 or 64 MB memory booting Domain/OS in Normal mode or running the MD selftest in Service mode will really take quite some time (while testing the memory).
