I'd forgotten Better Than Life.  I don't think I ever read it.  At least two
of the BTL gang in that picture were involved in WACCI.  Richard Fairhurst
was the last editor of WACCI and Merline certainly wrote articles for a
while.

I think the picture may have been taken at a WACCI Convention actually: the
backdrop is probably the stadium at Walsall.  I vaguely remember them all
having the BTL T-shirts, but I can't tell you which year it was taken.  I
think I went to most of the WACCI Conventions.
