If you're willing to risk your module (maybe if you've got a spare, so
can sacrifice one to figure out what's on there) I bet that can be taken
off fairly easily. If done with care, it will even still work
afterwards. After all, if people can reverse-engineer the encryption
algorithms on Mifare cards *by scraping back the chip a layer at a time
and looking at them with a microscope* I'm sure you can get at
Brunword's guts with a steady hand, sharp knife, vice, and maybe a bit
of heat.
