I just had an A500 gifted to me that was in a friend's attic. I've used them off/on for years in emulators, but I've never used the hardware. The first project I have to deal with is that it has the A501 board in it, which has been untouched since it was first installed. I know I need to get the battery off of taht and clean up the board. Outside of that, I still need a mouse for it and some way to boot it, as I don't have any boot floppies, nor even know if the drive works. Like you, I have some hardware fun ahead of me.
