At best it's a "fix". It's also at a price of 15 pounds + 3.50 post/package + the cost of returning the original CD, to correct an issue that need not exist. (You do get some extra free software and re-written user guide.) I followed the advice I read somewhere here and set up the whole program /from the start/ in a partition separate from the :C drive - there was then no UAC problem. Thanks, to whoever suggested it. I wonder what (having backed up the whole program first of course) Aaron's advice would be, if one deleted VRPC, installed it in a separate partition, then asked him for the key to unlock the program? (DON'T follow this pipedream idea of mine without checking first with someone who knows whether it's feasible or whether there are pitfalls!) Michael Harding Rev. Preb.
