Unfortunately, that's the obvious answer I've played with, but it doesn't work along with a few other tried. There is now also, an Excel version of the Snippet inside the archive at the address given yesterday, and FWIW I can't sort it in Excel either. Thanks Dave A B C D .... I J ----------------------------------------------------------- Net Time Running 6| Date 8:15 12:15 4:00 4:0 7| Date 9:10 11:25 2:15 6.15 8| Date 9:30 12:15 2:45 9:0 The formatting is identical for the whole of column J in the form of h:mm Changing it to h:mmmm or 0.00 nor even 0:00 I guess something in the formula needs modifying so that if the hour is a full hour with no minute increments it displays as h:00 My brains is pudding from messing with this...
